This is a cruel joke to play on a dog: you mate a breed that loves to run with a breed that can’t.  Those are really short legs. The quality is low because I took it with my phone camera. It is pictures like this that are the reason that I seldom leave without my digital camera. You just don’t know what you’ll see next.

I actually took a picture of the pump in disgust. This was taken in East Fishkill, NY at a station near the Taconic Parkway.

This is a very historic old structure on an island in the Hudson River near Beacon, NY that dates back to colonial times. I love this, as my header will attest; getting to a vantage to take a good picture was difficult- they didn’t build castles with photographers in mind.

Just as I was about to start photgraphing the exterior of a new listing in Tompkins Cove, Rockland County, a very bold deer visited. I caught it on video and took some cool photos as well. Not something you see every day.

This was taken from Route 9W northbound near Cornwall, New York. The view eastward is typically the Hudson River, and you can make it out just under the clouds. For some reason the cloud was very low that day, creating a remarkable visual effect. This was taken in late September, 2006.

This church is right on Queens Boulevard and I see it whenever I drive to Kew Gardens or Forest Hills. It is a stunning structure in person.

Ossining Stone Home

This home was built by a judge in the 1920’s with boulders from the banks of the Hudson River. It is one of my very favorite houses. I sold it to the current owner and it is back on the market. Email me if you’re interested-he’ll hold the mortgage!
